Island Rounds
A gathering space for therapists — for conversations and ideas that don't always have a home
I created Island Rounds because I wished something like it had existed sooner.
There are days in this work when you can't quite name what you need. More supervision? A break? A career change? A long walk and someone to sit with who just gets it?
This is a space for that in-between place. A small group of therapists, stepping away from the usual pace of clinical work, thinking out loud together about the cases, questions, and ideas that don't always have a home.
No expert in the room. No performance required. Just colleagues thinking together somewhere beautiful.
Come as you are. You don't have to have it together here.

Settle in. Connect. Arrive.
Come in, grab a coffee or tea, and settle into the space. We'll start with informal conversation and a simple opening round to help us arrive together.
EXPLORE
12:00pm - 1:30pm
A space to think out loud.
The heart of Island Rounds is a lightly facilitated conversation about the things that don't always have a home.
I'll bring a few prompts to help us get started, and participants are welcome to bring a question, case, idea, or experience they'd like to explore. Nothing is required, and there is no set agenda.
CONNECT
1:30pm onwards
Step outside. Wander. Keep the conversation going.
We'll head down to Snug Cove together for coffee or lunch.
Think: therapist social. A chance to keep talking, get to know each other, or just spend some time with other therapists who get it.
This part is intentionally unstructured. Stay for a coffee, continue the conversation, wander around Bowen, or head home — whatever feels right.

All prices include the Island Rounds gathering, coffee/tea and refreshments. Ferry fare and the optional café portion are not included.
