A consult and reset day for therapists on Bowen Island
I created Island Rounds because I wished something like it had existed sooner.
There are days in this work when you can't quite name what you need. More supervision? A break? A career change? A long walk and someone to sit with who just gets it?
This is a day for that in-between place. A small group of therapists, off the mainland, thinking out loud together about the cases and questions that don't always have a home.
No expert in the room. No performance required. Just colleagues thinking together somewhere beautiful.
Come as you are. You don't have to have it together here.
The Day
Morning
Arrive, coffee and practice introductions. Guided discussion on the real questions of private practice life.
Midday
Peer case consultation — structured, thoughtful, peer-led. No expert in the room. Just colleagues thinking together.
Afternoon
Group lunch at a local café in Snug Cove. A forest and beach walk. A closing reflection before the ferry home.
