About Jordanne
I'm Jordanne (she/her), a psychotherapist offering in-person sessions in North Vancouver and virtual therapy across British Columbia and Ontario. I specialize in supporting individuals managing anxiety, OCD, specific phobias (including emetophobia), perfectionism, and overthinking. I particularly enjoy working with clients who feel hesitant or unsure about therapy.
I hold a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University and have trained extensively in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and phobias.
Many of the people I work with hold high standards for themselves and often find it difficult to slow down or rest without guilt. These patterns can feel stressful, but they usually develop for a reason and can be hard to let go of. In therapy, we spend time understanding what these patterns are doing for you before deciding whether and how you might want to change them. From there, we may gently explore different ways of thinking and responding using CBT and exposure-based approaches, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Whether you are coming to see me in person in North Vancouver or accessing virtual therapy from anywhere in Ontario or British Columbia, my hope is that over time you leave sessions feeling less stuck. More able to rest, to let things be imperfect, and to respond to yourself with a little more ease.
If that sounds like what you are looking for, I would love to hear from you. Feel free to book a free consultation.
