About Jordanne

Hello! I’m Jordanne (She/Her). I’m a psychotherapist offering virtual sessions across Ontario and Brisih Columbia. I specialize in supporting individuals managing anxiety, OCD, specific phobias (including emetophobia), perfectionism, and overthinking. I particularly enjoy working with clients who may feel hesitant or unsure about therapy.

I have a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University and have trained extensively in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and phobias.

Many of the people I work with hold high standards for themselves and often find it difficult to slow down or rest without guilt. These patterns can feel stressful, but they usually develop for a reason and can be hard to let go of. In therapy, we spend time understanding what these patterns are doing for you before deciding whether and how you want to change them. From there, we may gently explore different ways of thinking and responding using CBT and exposure based approaches, working at a pace that feels manageable.

Therapy with me is collaborative, paced, and focused on helping you feel more able to navigate what you are dealing with.
